I have decided to put out the occasional wine recommendation. I generally cycle through the same kinds of wine, because I know what I like that is within my budget. However, recently I tried a couple of new wines that I really liked and thought were worth sharing!
Kendall-Jackson Grand Reserve 2013 Chardonnay
Although I will always prefer the reds, this chardonnay was gifted to me by my lovely sister so obviously I was going to try it. It was not too sweet and perfectly refreshing for a hot summer day in the Inland Empire. It contained notes of lemon, lime, floral, vanilla, and spice.
Apothic Dark Red Blend 2014
My mother has recently gotten me into the Apothic line of California wines. The Apothic Red is also very tasty, but the Apothic Dark takes the cake for me right now with its notes of blueberry, blackberry, coffee, and dark chocolate.
